This release polishes what 0.9.0 added. An idea tried on the board is called an imagined line everywhere, from its buttons to its error messages, and its moves are numbered by full move ("1… e5"). A paused game has one Resume Game button, in its own group, and the same name in the banner and in Details. A finished network game offers Review This Game instead of Offer Draw and Resign, on the bar and in Details alike. Captured pieces are counted from the game's own start, so a mini-game or a game from a set position no longer shows pieces that were never on the board. Long board titles are no longer cut off, the voice coach's buttons stack when there is no room for a row, and the move-mark legend wraps. Disabled glass buttons use the system's disabled colour, and a prominent button keeps a readable label on a light accent colour. Lists read as lists: what a lesson covers and a review's takeaways are bulleted, and mini-game settings line up in a grid. Lessons show a book in the sidebar and mini-games a controller. During a network game the rows that cannot be opened look disabled, and the reason is given once. Library results show as 1–0 or ½–½ and VoiceOver reads them as words. Voice settings show one control per setting under Answers, About counts the lessons, practice lessons and mini-games the sidebar shows, and Remove Codex Setup appears only when there is a setup to remove. When progress cannot be saved, the banner offers Export Progress…. Automated acceptance covered every gate on the test Mac, including the Intel build under Rosetta, the LAN pair and the real pointer gates. A live check, with no microphone or speaker, ran the coach's English, Chinese and Spanish turns, a network game's hints, a mini-game review reading and a training game's coach turn, with every narrated segment verified. No gate clicks Export Progress… or Remove Codex Setup, and a prominent button's label on a light accent colour has not been seen on screen; unit tests cover them. No person has yet listened to the coach in review.
