XDict 0.4.1 keeps the AI endpoint you configured.
- Settings ▸ AI's Address field no longer loses a pasted server address: stray whitespace is trimmed, and text the URL parser cannot read leaves the last good address stored instead of erasing it. Pressing Test no longer appears to reset the address to 127.0.0.1 — that was the field's placeholder after the stored address had been wiped.
- This build also carries the answer-pane work merged into main since 0.4.0: the answer pane in its own window beside the main window, the reader's gap, width, opening and keys for it, one shortcut recorder shared by Settings' two rows, and SwiftUI's searchable field replacing the AppKit search path. Versions: macOS 0.4.1 (build 4), core 0.4.0, Windows 0.1.0 (unchanged). Requires Apple silicon and macOS 27 or later. Bring your own MDict dictionaries. Install or upgrade:

Validation: the fix's view test failed before the change and passes after, with its model tests, on the build Mac. The release build ran SwiftLint, the full Swift test suites and the warnings gate on mbp16 when the bundle was made; the landing gate was not run for this patch, at the owner's call. The app and the disk image are notarized, stapled and accepted by Gatekeeper on this Mac. The E2E Mac's release smoke and Gatekeeper were waived by the owner for this release, because the Air's network could not reach that Mac's LAN name; the waiver is recorded beside the image, and E2E is on demand in any case.
