What's fixed#
Permissions stopped asking for what you had already granted. Holding the hover modifier for the first time after a launch could raise the Screen Recording dialog on a Mac that granted it days earlier — and grant nothing. The probe distinguishes a refusal from a check that could not run, and only a real refusal prompts. A check that could not run now says so instead of reporting "Off". The panel stays wholly on screen. Opening the other senses near the bottom of a display drew the list past the edge. The window is re-fitted on all four edges whenever its content resizes it, and the card scrolls rather than growing without bound. The card opens on your primary dictionary, not on whichever answered first — so the dictionary on screen and the one whose sense was recorded can no longer differ. A sense proposal stays in the entry it was made for. Positional sense keys repeat across dictionaries, so the primary's answer could appear on an unrelated entry as that entry's own. The word marked in your sentence is the one you looked up. It was found by searching, so he in "The man said he was fine" underlined the he inside "The". A result that is less than it looks says so — a dictionary service that could not be asked, a word read off the screen by OCR, a dictionary answering with a different headword, and a dictionary that marks no senses at all. A pinned note keeps its uncertainty. Pinning a sense the selector was unsure of produced a note indistinguishable from one you had confirmed. Also: a word keeps one colour between the panel and the history; public-fallback definitions are no longer truncated at six lines; and the disclosure state no longer carries across a dictionary switch.
