Mochi 0.9.6 makes the menu bar icon work the way you expect.
- Clicking the menu bar icon now brings Mochi in front. Before, the window could open behind the app you were using. The same goes for Open Mochi in the menus and for the desktop Mochi.
- Right-click (or Control-click) the menu bar icon for a fuller menu: what Mochi is doing now, Talk, Start or Stop Listening, New Conversation, Open Mochi, Settings, showing or hiding the desktop Mochi and its message bar, and Quit. Your global shortcuts are shown beside their items.
- The desktop Mochi's own menu now has the same items, with Desktop Mochi Settings in place of Settings.
- Hovering over the menu bar icon shows what Mochi is doing. Requires Apple Silicon and macOS 14 or later. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapled.
