Mochi 0.6.3 adds a desktop Mochi and keyboard shortcuts that work in every app, and reorganizes Settings. Desktop Mochi
- Mochi can sit on your desktop in a small transparent window. She mirrors the conversation: she listens while you record, thinks while a reply is prepared, and talks while it plays.
- Click her to start or finish a voice message. Drag her to move her; Control-click her for more. Her place and visibility are remembered.
- Eyes that follow the pointer are an option in Settings › Desktop Mochi, off by default. Keyboard shortcuts in every app
- Talk to Mochi: Control-Option-Command-M. Press once to start a voice message and again to send it, or hold it while you speak and let go to send.
- Show or Hide Desktop Mochi: Control-Option-Command-H.
- Change either in Settings › General. Mochi refuses a shortcut that macOS, its own menus or the other action already use. No Accessibility permission is needed. Settings
- General replaces Conversation and holds the connection and keyboard shortcuts. Desktop Mochi holds the pet's options. Data & Privacy holds all of the privacy information.
- An error now shows only in the tab whose action caused it. Fixes
- Opening Mochi from the menu bar brings its window to the front as macOS 14 and later expect. Requires Apple Silicon and macOS 14 or later. The library format is unchanged (version 3). The app and DMG are Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapled.
