Mochi 0.5.1 adds an About pane and fixes problems found in a full review of 0.5.0.
- Settings → About shows the version, the author, project links and the character licence.
- Text fields and menus draw one consistent focus ring.
- Quitting with changes that could not be saved now asks before discarding them.
- Deleting a conversation no longer removes a recording that another conversation, or Undo, still needs. Cleanup also keeps recordings referenced by the earlier library copy.
- Recovering an unreadable library can no longer leave it missing if the replacement fails to save.
- A full 60-second recording is no longer discarded as interrupted.
- If a correction to a voice message's transcript fails to save, the sheet stays open and shows the error.
- A newly launched Mochi waits for an older copy that is still starting, or whose app was moved during an upgrade, instead of opening the library alongside it.
- For MCP clients:
initializemust include a clientnameandversion, and request IDs must be strings or integers. Requires Apple Silicon and macOS 14 or later. The library format is unchanged (version 3). The app and DMG are Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapled.
