Voice, lesson recording and lesson translation now get your Codex sign-in through sayso, a package Checkmate shares with other apps, instead of reading Codex's sign-in file themselves. Codex is asked for the sign-in and renews it before it runs out, so you no longer need to open Codex to refresh it. A sign-in that Codex keeps in the keychain works, and so does a Codex home set with CODEX_HOME. Lesson translation no longer copies Codex's sign-in file at all: its private copy of Codex is signed in from the token alone, without the token that would let it renew your sign-in. An API-key sign-in is still refused, and each sign-in problem now says how to fix it. Narration and lesson recordings are checked against their script in the lesson's own language. In a language other than English, a number has to be read as written or in that language's words. Automated acceptance covered every gate on the test Mac, including the Intel build under Rosetta. A live check, with no microphone or speaker, ran a real coach turn in English, Chinese and Spanish with every narrated segment verified, and a voice preview. Another translated a lesson into Chinese and recorded a clip from it through a real Codex sign-in kept in a file. A sign-in kept in the keychain was tested only with stand-in tokens.
