Library posters no longer stall behind a file Quick Look cannot read. A hung thumbnail request could hold one of four slots indefinitely and leave most of Home on the placeholder; every stage now has a deadline, so the grid always recovers. MKV and M2TS files get a poster frame from the bundled FFmpeg instead of Quick Look or AVFoundation, which do not decode those containers. Entries without a local source, such as torrent streams or missing files, still show the placeholder.
